Washington Post: Kony 2013–U.S. Intensifies Role in Hunt for Warlord with Support from Invisible Children
Tuesday, October 29, 2013: As U.S. Special Operation troops continue to work in an advisory capacity to assist African soldiers find Joseph Kony, leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army, there is recognition of the role Aid for Africa member Invisible Children and its supporters have played in shaping strategies of the hunt and keeping pressure on the U.S. to bring Kony to justice. The effort has led to cooperation among Ugandan, South Sudanese, and Congolese troops, as well as cooperation between American philanthropists, U.S. advisers, and the African troops. Read the article
