The Guardian: African Universities Highlighted as Innovators in the Revitalization of Higher Education
Saturday, August 1, 2015: As Africa continues to build its college and university system there are few institutions that truly innovate. Aid for Africa members Ashesi University and African Food and Peace Foundation are among those that do just that. Based in Ghana, Ashesi University aims to educate future leaders with critical thinking skills. African Rural University, run by African Food and Peace Foundation, is the first all-woman rural university in Africa and seeks to develop the skills of this discounted group. Read the article.
