Boston Globe: Lost Girl, Yar Ayuel, Tells Her Story and Speaks on Behalf of Women Refugees
Saturday, May 3, 2104: Yar Ayuel, a Sudanese refugee, came to the U.S. in 2000 from a refugee camp in Kenya–escaping war, hunger, and sickness. Ayuel was in Washington D.C. this week, traveling with Aid for Africa member RefugePoint, speaking about her journey and ensuring the plight of the female refugee is not forgotten.
