Wednesday, March 30, 2011: Founder of Carolina for Kibera Rye Barcott talks with the World’s anchor Lisa Mullins about his memoir, “It Happened on the Way to War: A Marine’s Path to Peace.” Barcott served as a Marine captain in Iraq, but on his way to the Marines, he learned more about ethnic violence and how to prevent it when he moved into Kibera, outside of Nairobi, Kenya, one of the largest slums in Africa.
