Forbes: Panthera Chairman Tom Kaplan Featured
Tuesday, October 8, 2013: In an article in Forbes, Tom Kaplan explains why and how he created Panthera, an Aid for Africa member. His personal mission now is to bring others to his mission. “My role is to create something that gathers momentum and is really welcoming to people who share this passion,” said Kaplan, chairman of Panthera. To that end, Kaplan created the Kaplan Graduate Awards for big cat scholars and endowed WildCru, a graduate wildlife conservation management program at Kaplan’s alma mater Oxford University. “We’re creating the next generation of scientists,” he said.
